Focusing on the CGT Frontier: Yantai Biomedical Group Showcases at CGCS 2026 and Conducts Park Industry Matchmaking

Recently, Yantai Biomedical Group traveled to Suzhou to attend the 7th International Cell and Gene Therapy China Summit & Exhibition (CGCS 2026), where it carried out promotional activities including park presentations and booth exhibitions for Yantai Blue Pharma Valley · Life Island Park.

Held in Suzhou from May 28 to 29, CGCS 2026 is regarded as a barometer of the cell and gene therapy (CGT) industry. The summit brought together over 200 top-tier global speakers and attracted more than 5,000 industry professionals on-site, with an additional 10,000-plus viewers joining online worldwide. Focusing on cutting-edge fields such as CGT, mRNA, and small nucleic acid therapies, the event served as a high-end platform for technological exchange, industrial synergy, and the commercialization of achievements.

At the summit, Mr. Wu Bin, Deputy General Manager of Yantai Biomedical Group, delivered a detailed introduction to the overall layout, ecosystem, and capital empowerment advantages of Blue Pharma Valley · Life Island Park. In light of the new industry policy introduced on August 18, he highlighted the group’s forward-looking deployment in the cell and regenerative medicine sector, as well as the industrial cooperation model built around the public service platform for pilot-scale conversion of cell products, technology transfer from Class A tertiary hospitals, and comprehensive health services. He also held in-depth discussions with relevant cell therapy companies and investment institutions.

During the summit, the group precisely connected with over 40 enterprises and institutions in the CGT field. Participating companies showed great interest in the industrial ecosystem and the public service platform for pilot-scale conversion of cell products that Blue Pharma Valley · Life Island Park has developed for the cell and regenerative medicine sector. They asked detailed questions on specific topics such as the platform’s service capabilities, the park’s ecosystem, and capital support. Heads of several companies expressed a strong desire to establish contact with the group, explore interactions, and visit Yantai at a suitable time for on-site inspections and discussions on concrete cooperation.

Going forward, Yantai Biomedical Group will leverage this event as an opportunity to closely follow up with the companies and institutions that expressed cooperation intentions during the summit, and to further deepen industrial attraction and collaboration in the cell and regenerative medicine field. Against the backdrop of the new cell therapy industry policies, the group will fully harness its first-mover advantages and platform service capabilities, accelerate the clustering of the cell and regenerative medicine industry, and build Blue Pharma Valley · Life Island into a nationally renowned hub for this sector — injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of Yantai’s biomedical industry.
